Victoria RHD Control Initiatives
Expert clinicians in Victoria are motivated to identify people with acute rheumatic fever (ARF) and rheumatic heart disease (RHD) and provide education and support to people living with ARF and RHD and their families and primary care clinicians. Diagnostic and clinical management advice is available to primary care clinicians:

- For adults: Dr Ben Costello at ben.costello@wh.org.au
Legislated notification of ARF and RHD
From 31 July 2023, Medical Practitioners have a legal obligation to notify cases of ARF and RHD in Victoria.
